Dottie is 4 1/2 years old. Dorothy ("Dottie" for short) is a lovely purebred Basset Hound. She was originally purchased from a breeder in Kansas, and was surrendered to the shelter when her owner moved and could not take her with them. Dottie is trained and gets along with all people, including children. She enjoys going for walks and taking nice long naps. Dottie is a friendly and playful girl who loves attention, comes when called, and walks nicely on a leash. She will fit perfectly into almost any home. If you would like to show Dorothy that there is no place like a new home, come on down to meet her! The Santa Cruz SPCA's adoption package for dogs and cats includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip/registration, an ID tag, collar, coupons, a free health exam, 30 days of free pet health insurance, and other animal care materials.
