Ace is 8 months old.
Ace was surrendered to the shelter when his people had to move and couldn't take him with them. He is friendly with people and other dogs (he has not yet been tested with cats or small children). This guy is a bundle of fun and playful energy. He will be the perfect companion for an active person or family who will take him for walks, jogs, the beach, or anything active! Ace is very loving and has a friendly demeanor, though needs someone who will work with him on basic manners and training.
The Santa Cruz SPCA's adoption package for dogs and cats includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip/registration, an ID tag, collar, coupons, a free health exam, 30 days of free pet health insurance, and other animal care materials. Puppies under 1 year of age are $300, dogs over 1 year are $200, and senior dogs are $150. If an animal is 6 years old or more, they qualify for our Senior Pets For Senior People program.
