Hi there,
My name is Amber Field, and I have been teaching didgeridoo since xxxx. I was featured in San Francisco Magazine's Best of the Bay for yoga music. I am available to teach absolute beginners to advanced students. I teach the basic drone, tongue techniques, cheeks in and out, jaw drops, belly breaths, circular breathing, animal sounds, talking into the didge, singing into the didge, overblowing (tooting), wobbling, and other fun techniques. I can also show you the Northern Australian hard tongue style of playing.
I have taught many students with sleep apnea, and didgeridoo has helped them greatly. I am also a sound healer, and able to teach the therapeutic aspects of playing didgeridoo for relaxation, anxiety, help with nerve regeneration, and other conditions.
I have an extensive background in African, Latin, Arabian, and Indian rhythms, and can teach you them. I play didgeridoo as I drum, and can show you how to do the same. I am also a singer and can teach you how to sing into the didgeridoo.
Didgeridoo is a wonderful journey into your breath, emotions, and body! I am excited to accompany you on your journey, whether it's for your own healing or to be a professional didgeridoo player.
I charge $100/hour, $250 for 3 sessions, and $375 for 5 sessions.
