Reporting to the Director of the Lean Promotion Office, the Patient Experience Program Manager is a key resource for supporting strategic service related initiatives and for driving a lean-based management system across the PAMF enterprise. The Program Manager will manage the system-wide transformation of the patient experience at PAMF, including PAMFCares service standards and other key service related initiatives. The incumbent has exceptional influencing and consulting skills and effectively works with the front line staff, physicians, and cross-functioned leadership to create and implement the PAMFCares program. The incumbent utilizes strong organizational, project management and data management skills to ensure that initiatives remain on schedule and to organize project teams and meetings, including executive level meetings. The incumbent also utilizes exceptional written and verbal communication and event planning skills to create a standard for staff recognition and celebration events. This includes organizing staff celebration events, drafting house-wide communications, and maintaining strong relationships with department heads and staff in order to remain abreast of, and support, their service related efforts.
Required: Bachelor''s degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university; three to five (3-5) years project management, consulting and/or direct management experience. Experience managing teams either on improvement projects or in operations.
Preferred: Master''s degree in Business, Health Administration or related field; experience in Lean process improvement tools and methods. Demonstrated success in managing and achieving results on improvement projects or teams. Prior management experience, healthcare industry experience and/or consulting management experience.
