Group Controller - (Santa Cruz) in Santa Cruz, California For Sale

Our Client is looking to hire a Group Controller for the Company's largest business unit. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance & Corporate Controller, this position will primarily be responsiblefor overseeing the financial operations of the Business Group's activities in the US, Europe and Asia as well as oversee the financial close, consolidation, and SEC/external reporting for the entire Company. Business Group responsibilities include the management of AR, AP, GL, cost accounting, fixed assets, planning/budgeting, cash, equity and tax as well as providing Business Unit Leaders with financial support to drive operational efficiency while ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place and working effectively. This position will oversee a global staff of approximately 20 finance and accounting members. This position will interface with senior executives in the Company and withother business unit controllers in the Company, on a peer basis, as well as the Managers of Treasury, & Corporate FP&A. This position is viewed as the staging ground for the Corporate Controller role within the next few years.
