Savvy Sales Associate in the Beauty Industry- Renown Premium Virgin Hair at Bayfair in Santa Cruz, California For Sale
This fun and exciting entry-level position is part of a network of talented hair professionals who are ready to take on the world...one head at a time. It's a sales associate position with that extra spark that only you can bring. Pay begins at $9 per hour. Expected hours per week - approximately 15-25. Should be okay with appearing on television and in photos.
Basic Duties
*Greet and assist customers
*Handle complaints and questions
*social media posting
*filling orders
*Tidying work space/area
*Answer calls with current promotion/slogan
*Brush, groom and style hair on the showroom floor
*Assist with red carpet photos (customer)
*Answer Live Chat
*Post to Blog
*Set appointments for Hayward location
*Add customers to mailing list
*Ring up customer sales
*Update displays as needed
*Check and answer emails
*Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
*Bag, box, wrap, or gift-wrap merchandise, and prepare packages for shipment.
*Compute and record totals of transactions.
*Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
*Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using cash register
*Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
*Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
*Receive payment by cash, credit cards or debits.
*Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
*calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales.
*Sell hair and other items to customers.
*Perform and validate inventory calculations.
*Other duties as assigned
Requirements
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Ability to perform basic math computations
*Ability to multitask
*Reliable
*Dependable
*excellent listening and interpersonal skills
*knowledge of hair extensions required
*Must know and understand the art of upselling
*Ability to understand and follow instructions
*Basic knowledge of iOs systems
Requirements & Skills
Must be knowledgeable about extensions and wigs.
